Quran Verses About Rizq (الرزق)
Rizq (provision) comes from Allah alone. He provides from sources you never expected. These verses build unshakeable trust that your sustenance is guaranteed by the Creator.
وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ
Wa yarzuqhu min haisu laa yahtasib
And will provide for him from where he does not expect.
Allah's provision comes from unexpected sources - trust the process.
وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا
Wa maa min daaabbatin fil ardi illaa 'alal laahi rizquhaa
And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision.
Every living thing - from the smallest ant to the largest whale - Allah guarantees its provision.
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ
Innal laaha Huwar Razzaaqu Zul Quwwatil Mateen
Indeed, it is Allah who is the Provider, the firm possessor of strength.
Ar-Razzaq - Allah is THE Provider. It's His name and His nature.
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن دَآبَّةٍۢ لَّا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا ٱللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ
Wa ka ayyim min daaabbatil laa tahmilu riqqahaa; al laahu yarzuquhaa wa iyyaakum
And how many a creature carries not its own provision. Allah provides for it and for you.
Birds don't store food, fish don't farm - yet Allah feeds them all. And you.
وَٱللَّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ
wallaahu yarzuqu mai yashaaa'u bighairi hisaab
And Allah gives provision to whom He wills without account.
Allah's provision has no limit - "without account" means beyond calculation.
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًۭا فَٱمْشُوا۟ فِى مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِهِۦ
Huwal lazee ja'ala lakumul arda zaloolan famshoo fee manaakibihaa wa kuloo mir rizqihee
He made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision.
Allah made the earth for you - go out, strive, and eat from His rizq.
وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ
wa tarzuqu man tashaaa'u bighari hisab
And You give provision to whom You will without account.
A dua acknowledging Allah's unlimited provision.
فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ فَٱنتَشِرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ
Fa-izaa qudiyatis Salaatu fantashiroo fil ardi wabtaghoo min fadlil laahi
And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah.
Pray first, then go earn - Islam balances worship with worldly effort.
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقْدِرُ
Inna Rabbaka yabsuturrizqa limai yashaaa'u wa yaqdir
Indeed, your Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts it.
Allah controls the flow - sometimes more, sometimes less. Both are tests.
